Jeffrey S. Vitter, provost and executive vice president for academics, announced the search advisory committee for the position of dean of the College of Liberal Arts, as listed below, and the search to fill this critical position is underway. The new dean will build upon the tremendous momentum established under the leadership of Dean Charles A. Johnson, who previously announced his intention to not seek a third term as dean. Dr. Doug Palmer, dean of the College of Education and Human Development, will chair the committee.
